Rehearsal Schedule

  • Youth Symphony of DuPage rehearsals are at Naperville Central High School, located at Aurora and West Streets , Naperville, Illinois.

  • They are conducted on Monday evenings : 6:15PM for Preparatory Orchestra; 7:30PM for the Symphony Orchestra.

  • In this season, all rehearsals will be held in Monday evening without exception.

  • If you are unable to attend a rehearsal, please report your absence using the On-Line Absence Report System at your earliest convenience.

  • In some cases, you may not be able to report your absence before the scheduled rehearsal time. Even if it is too late for the rehearsal, a retroactive report is still necessary. 

  • "No show" without any absence report will be very bad on your record.  Since the attendence report must be seen by Mr. Tham before each rehearsal session begins, it is important that the report be made by 5:00 pm.  If you can't make the deadline, fill out the absence report after rehearsal is over.

  • Youth Symphony of DuPage strongly urges all members to participate in their school bands and orchestras. We thank the many school orchestra and band directors who encourage their students to advance their skills by joining YSDP.

Regular Dates: Preparatory Orchestra:  6:15 pm - 7:15 pm  
               Symphony Orchestra:     7:30 pm - 9:30 pm  
                  
            PS: Both Prep & Symphony Orchestras meet. 

All members must be seated with the instrument ready for     
tuning at the starting time (so, come 10 minutes early).
Rehearsal
